This fiber art piece, Violet Light, in shades of purple, blue and brown, combines hand embroidery and needle felting.
There are even a few sparkly and shiny bits, a departure from my penchant for matte. The size, however, remains small scale, at 8 X 9 inches.

The colors remind me that Spring will eventually arrive and the hydrangeas will bloom once again. They will!
