Two new soft sculpture birds, one orange, the other purple. The birds are created in three stages. Mixed fabric and fibers are needle felted to create a new fabric. Then the bird shapes are free-motion machine stitched to add colour and texture. Lastly the soft sculptures are hand stitched together and stuffed.
The smaller orange bird has a yellow chest and wing and the larger bird is purple with light green and pink details. The softie dolls are part of a larger flock of birds and other soft sculptures.
