This fiber art quilt, Sari Silk Skies is hot & spicy in pinks with purple and gold.
To create the art quilt, ribbons of sari silk were needle felted creating texture and plenty of untamed loose threads. Stitching and hand beading were added for even more varied surface textures.
Hot & Spicy is the eighth in the Silk Threads series, a group of fiber art pieces incorporating remnants of Indian sari silk.
