This art quilt embraces sewing with raw edges, ragged fabric and loose threads. Part of
a little bird told me series, this piece is by far the most untamed, frayed fabric and all.
Inspired by the painting Ponder Bird from the series, the sewing version has open weave fabric replacing the painting's background of text. While sewing with frayed fabric poses unique challenges, the raw nature of the fabric creates an informal and playful scene for the girly bluebird.
