Recent days have found me immersed in drawing, sketching and painting - playing with materials from pencil and markers to watercolor and acrylic paints. The subject matter - a girl and a bird.
From refining facial features to playing with proportion, it's been an exciting adventure. The colors of hair, eyes and bird change but in the end, the narrative is the same - one of quiet companionship.
I've been posting the illustrations as they are completed on
instagram. More drawings are in progress too. It seems I can't stop sketching these two best buddies...
