Acrylic Paintings Close Up

Sometimes there is beauty in the details, in things viewed from a different angle. Here's a few recent abstract and floral paintings in close up.

Dripping with colour,

Shapes found in the layering process,

Flowers appear amid the chaos,

Not refined but raw, marked,

Colours and shapes appear like mirrors,

or landscapes and foliage emerge,

all from a mix of colour upon colour.

The lesson, for me, is to slow down, pay attention and allow things to come together in their own time.
